Vinous Josh Raynolds - 01 May 17
Deep ruby. An explosively perfumed bouquet displays ripe boysenberry, cherry liqueur, licorice pastille and sandalwood scents and a smoky mineral topnote gains strength with air. Stains the palate with sweet, oak-spiced black and blue fruit, spicecake and vanilla flavors that show impressive vivacity for their depth. Smooth, slow-building tannins add grip to the finish, which hangs on with outstanding, dark-fruit-driven persistence.
